It's Not Our Job, It's Our Passion.

Bailark Turf CareAt Bailark Turf Care, we do not believe in putting you on an 8-12 step program to make your lawn look its best. We use quality professional products that are slow release giving the turf a steady amount of nutrients spread out over time. We also use integrated pest management practices to optimize treatments to your lawn. Integrated pest management is a combination of practices that allows us to most effectively deal with problems in your yard. We apply all of our products at the most effective time so they get the best results. We do not apply products by calendar date, we apply when it will be the most beneficial.

Weed Control

Bailark Turf CareWeed control is most often better in the fall with a few exceptions that include crabgrass. Fall weed applications are more effective because the plant is naturally storing nutrients for the winter. When a fall weed control is applied the plant will move the product into the root and take care of the whole plant. Mid season applications may sometimes be made to get rid of a few stragglers. We use a preventative product to control crabgrass. This application is made in the spring when crabgrass starts to germinate. We wait until the crabgrass is just starting to germinate to apply this product, normally about 1-2 weeks after your grass has fully greened up after the winter.

Fertilizers

Bailark Turf CareMost of our fertilizer is slow release 30-50%. This means that it takes time to break down and get into the soil for your grass to use it. By using slow release products we can extend the frequency of applications so we do not need to fertilize your lawn every couple of weeks. By using these slow release products we not only need to make fewer applications but your lawn will be healthier because it always has what it needs when it needs it.

Disease and Pest Controls

There are many diseases and pests that can be harmful to your lawn. These could include snow mold, moles and things like diseases. These problems can be in one yard but a few doors down not even be seen. We come out and evaluate the problem and then come up with a solution that will take care of the disease or pest you may have. It is important to us that when we are evaluating a lawn that you tell us about any problems that you have had in the past. This will help us be aware of problem spots that we may be able to take care of before they happen.

Let us know if you have had any problems with moles, grubs, diseases, brown patches or any areas that are not as healthy as the rest of your yard when we come out.

Incentives Program

Satisifed with your lawn and our work? Be sure to pass on the word about our services. We have an incentive program where if you refer someone that signs up for at least a four application program we will give you one free application or up to $100 off of your next application.

OUR POLICY

We are not going to sell you unnecessary applications. We are interested in taking care of your lawn as we would ours. We would like to work with you to develop and educate you in how to use a combination of tools including cultural practices to optimize your lawns potential (check out our lawn tips to learn more about what you can do to make your yard better). We can make your lawn green by just putting iron on it every 2-3 weeks, which is inexpensive technique, but we are interested in getting your lawn as healthy as possible. We look at your lawns health in years, not how quick we can get it to green up.
